Kautex

Kautex is a Top 100 global automotive supplier. The company develops and manufactures plastic fuel systems, selective catalytic reduction systems, windshield, headlight, camera and sensor cleaning systems.

In March 2016, Kautex purchased Krishna’s controlling interest in the Krishna-Kautex Pvt. Ltd. joint venture in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, and the facility is now fully owned by Kautex.  The purchase was made possible through the backing of Textron through its subsidiaries Textron India and Textron Far East – a strong sign of our parent company’s willingness to invest and grow our business.

Kautex has a strong relationship with the existing customer base in India. The addition of the 31st Kautex-owned manufacturing facility will ensure proper support to the existing platforms and provide a starting point to further expand the presence and competitive footprint in the region.  This should also bolster the customer support and lay the groundwork for potential growth prospects in the market.

The team at the manufacturing facility is fully equipped to build on the strength of its operational expertise and be better positioned to serve the customers in India.

A forward looking approach will further the opportunity for introducing new technologies and capabilities to be made available to current and prospective customers at the new facility.

Ransomes Jacobsen

Ransomes Jacobsen offers a comprehensive line of professional turf maintenance equipment and specialized turf-care vehicles for golf courses, sporting venues and other municipal and commercial uses.

RJ India has close to 25% - 30% market share with major customers like – Prestige Golfshire, Bangalore Golf Club, Bombay Presidency Golf Club, Aamby Valley Golf Course, DLF Golf Resort, ITC Classic Golf Resort & Royal Calcutta Golf Club, to name a few.

The market presence is seen to be growing gradually mainly due to the brand’s core focus on customer support over the last two years. We plan to continue focus in that area as we believe Sales can only make the first sale, repeat orders are entirely dependent on after sales support.

There exists a large inventory of fast moving spare parts & also Product Technicians with good experience to provide solid after sales support to all customers.  The Annual Maintenance Contracts is also offered to various customers who require extra monitoring from RJ to keep the machinery in good condition. 

There is periodic sponsorship & participation in seminars conducted by the Golf Course Superintendents & Manager’s Association of India to help spread knowledge on Turf Management in the India market. RJ also participates in the annual India Golf Expo which is the best platform to engage not only with existing customers, but also potential customers.
