Kalyan Sabareeshan heads the Ransomes Jacobsen India operation. He oversees sales & service for the Jacobsen & EZGO brands in the Indian Subcontinent. He has been in this role since June 2014.
Kalyan was appointed Regional Head - Indian Subcontinent, Ransomes Jacobsen India, in 2012. In that role, he worked alongside the Jacobsen dealer in the region to understand the market & improve the presence of Jacobsen & EZGO. Within two years in this role, he initiated the idea of a direct venture since India required an aggressive move from Jacobsen to reinstate its presence. With support from Ransomes Jacobsen UK & Textron India Pvt Ltd, he drove the setting up of theγ Ransomes Jacobsen India office in Koramangala, Bangalore. The office was inaugurated in June 2014 with the primary focus being customer service & support. This immediately started showing positive results & helped Jacobsen gain some crucial big customers in the region. γ
Prior to moving to sales, Kalyan worked as Design Development Engineer in Textron India supporting the Jacobsen Charlotte Engineering team on various new & current product development projects for a year. Kalyan holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University, New York, USA.γγ
