The Candidate will be assigned to projects in one or more areas of Product Design / Structural Analysis / Flight Technology / Product Support. The candidate is expected to work under the supervision of a mentor who will provide the work assignments. Daily responsibilities may include research and trade studies, developing design concepts, performance calculations , structural analysis , Structural Dynamics analysis using commercial / In-house FE codes for product support. The engineer is expected to come-up with recommendations for improvements on the assigned work in a time-bound manner.

POSITION SUMMARY
Data Engineers build and maintain data systems in support of data analytics and data science activities. The Data Engineer will implement methods to improve data reliability, data quality, and ensure success in data-driven initiatives. This position within IT Data & Analytics is responsible for identifying, developing, and executing solutions that support reliable and efficient extraction of data from source systems and loading of that data into analytic platforms. The Data Engineer will help administer data platforms and consult with data analysts and data scientists on process optimization and data quality improvements.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gain core business understanding of Textron Aviation and aircraft design, operation, and support
- Query, clean, transform, and stage data (ETL/ELT) across on-prem and cloud environments
- Support data analytics and data science activities by implementing, maintaining, and optimizing production ready data
pipelines
- Install and update software to ensure data platform continuity
- Administer a CI/CD compliant code repository during development and update activities
- Research and lead implementation of new technologies to support analytics function
- Interface with other data professionals throughout the organization to embrace cross functional growth in analytics
capabilities
- Work to improve data quality by leading data governance efforts in creating and maintaining data quality standards
- Plan and execute projects according to established milestones and schedules
- Conduct project/program briefings to management and end users
- Develop and lead training for users in data & analytic tools and processes per best practices and compliance standards
- Contribute to the resolution of service tickets pertaining to data infrastructure
- Serve as an internal consultant to business leaders by advising on system capabilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other Data & Analytics professionals

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Strong programming skills in SQL (other OOP languages also preferred)
- Familiarity with Python, Java, or other OOP languages
- Ability to create and schedule data pipelines (i.e. Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, etc)
- Experience with on-premise data warehouses and/or data lakes (i.e. Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA etc)
- Experience with cloud data lake/warehouse tech (i.e. Azure, Databricks, AWS, Snowflake etc)
- Familiarity with big data parallel processing frameworks such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, Dask, is preferred
- Linux and Windows OS experience including the command line
- Experience with server and software administration
- Comfortable with CI/CD processes in Github, Azure DevOps etc.
- Familiar with software development lifecycle, including waterfall, agile, and DevOps methodologies

1. Customer Shipment vehicle planning across four locations,
2. Regular shipment to Customer – End to End process (Starting from Picking, Scanning, Invoice generation) in SAP.
3. Material receiving process – (GRN Posting and Put away in SAP) along with physical transfer, FIFO Management.
4. Line Feeding Process (Physical material transfer to Super Market area) along with SAP.
5. Support in Material Procurement (Child parts procurement, supplier follow up etc)
6. Participate in ECN implementation for production parts.
7. Regular follow up for SPD Shipment to customer (Ford and Mahindra both)

v  Develop and optimize Quality Plans, Quality Assurance documents and Inspection Plans for parts and assemblies.

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Incumbent will have to work with a team of engineers in Bangalore and Wichita, Kansas, USA to design airframe details and assemblies for the Cessna and Beechcraft products. Duties will include using Catia V5 / V6 to create or modify airframe parts and assemblies, and may include assisting with certification efforts such as reports. He/She provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. Also contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects. Complete understanding and wide application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field is required.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Investigate production and field issues & resolve those with minimum engineering changes.
• Perform duties in support of new product and sustaining designs
• Initiate designs or incorporate design improvements utilizing CATIA V5 and V6 software with an emphasis on modeling and drafting
• 3D model development in support of detail, assembly and installation layouts
• Incorporate design changes on drawings for parts, assemblies and installations using Catia V5/V6.
• Provide modeling and/or re-design support to existing and new products
• Coordinate independently with several cross functional teams.
• Will have to juggle multiple product critical priorities and projects concurrently.
• Occasionally She/He would be expected to guide and mentor others in the team.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

 

• CATIA- V5 or V6 experience required.
