Deepak Govindraj

Sr. Manager, Sourcing & Procurement - ICOE, Textron Aviation 

Deepak Govindraj is Sr. Manager, Sourcing and Procurement – ICoE, Textron Aviation in India. He interacts with various suppliers and service providers to outsource products, and services for most of the Textron business units. He is the first point of contact for suppliers in India. Deepak also manages indirect material sourcing, procurement, and logistics.

Deepak began his career in Textron India as Manager for the Indian defense offset program in August 2012, reporting to the Director of sourcing, and managing local sourcing from potential suppliers out of the Indian Market. In 2017, Deepak had the opportunity to head the sourcing and procurement departments.

Previously Deepak worked at Schneider Electric, Areva in sourcing and localization projects. Deepak has also handled global sourcing, supplier development, product development, procurement, and logistics in the distribution and Automotive industries.

Deepak graduated from the University of Mysore in Mechanical Engineering and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration under the mainstream of Operations from Symbiosis.
