Krishnan Venkataraman

Krishnan Venkataraman is the Director Finance and Site Leader at Textron India Private Limited (TIPL). Krishnan leads the Finance and Accounts operations of the company. He is an active member of the leadership team at TIPL which manages the functioning of the organization including people who serve the business units of Textron. Krishnan played a key role in the setup of Textron India (then, Textron Global Technology Center) in 2004 and more recently in the acquisition of the Joint Venture Partner’s stake in Kautex India and subsequent merger into Textron India. Krishnan and his team successfully worked on obtaining export rebates of close to $ 2 M.
Prior to joining Textron India, Krishnan worked as a consultant in PricewaterHouse Coopers (PwC) and as the Director Finance & CFO of a medium sized IT Company in Bangalore, India. Krishnan was instrumental in listing this company on the Indian Stock Exchanges.
Krishnan earned his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree from Bangalore University in India and went on to complete his professional education in Accountancy by qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (ACA-regarded as equivalent to the CPA in the United States) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1991. He has 32 years of post-qualification experience. He is a Textron Six Sigma Certified Green Belt.
