Rohan Martis
Director Operations, Kautex
Rohan Martis is Director Operations - Manufacturing for Kautex in India. Primary responsibility is Plant Operations and is Leading a resilient team in Gujarat. He also interacts with various OEM’s, especially car manufacturers for business opportunities related to products such as Plastic Fuel Tank and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), Allegro and Pentatonic. He supports the customers on various techno commercial topics and is one of the point of contact for customers.
Rohan began his carrier in Textron India as Sector Lead Globalization in June 2008 reporting to Director Sourcing, Managing local sourcing from potential suppliers out of Indian Market. In 2011 Rohan had the opportunity to move to Kautex as Sales Manager when Kautex decided to set footprint in India, rest is history as Kautex set up first manufacturing location in India in February 2014, Gujarat. Since January 2017 Rohan is serving as Director Operations Kautex, Gujarat.
Previously Rohan worked at General Motors in Indirect Purchasing and used to take care of spares parts purchasing for global plants of GM, during his tenure at GM he had opportunity to work with manufacturing plants globally in various regions. Earlier Rohan was working in direct purchasing at international operations -TVS and was responsible for supplier development and Global Sourcing.
Rohan graduated from Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) in Mechanical Engineering and Obtained a Professional Certificate -Management Programme from IIM Kozhikode.
