Finance Shared Service (FSS) in India has competencies in areas of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Travel & Expense. The team is skilled in managing the transactional activities accurately within agreed timelines, provide analysis of reports to Fort Worth team(HQ) and implementation of applications such as workflows and tools for TIPL. The team is responsible for Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report and Travel & Expense. The team identifies process lacunas, performs root cause analysis, suggests preventive and corrective actions. A key role is performed by the team during Internal audit, Statutory audit and External audits. The team identifies opportunities for standardization of process across Business Units which helps in reduction in costs and develop best practice. The team performs an analysis of aged receivables and payables, resolution of vendor and customer issues, reconciliations and audit. Financial Planning and Analysis and Analytics is the next focus area for the team.
